The End is in Sight...

Several things have happened.
First of all i will show you the final film i created for my crit...

And there you have it. 24 different seconds of cameraless film. Overall i think my crit went well, ive got a few things to research and modify before the presentation in a week and a half, but overall i am happy with how it all went!

However, this film marks the end of my experimentation with 35mm film. I simply can no longer take the horrible process of scanning/resizing/cropping/saving/compiling/saving/editing all to get a single second of film. So i am saying goodbye to the 35mm and moving onwards to 16mm film. I have just purchased a 16mm projector (an Elf RT 1), a splicer, 2 spools, and hopefully soon some actual film!!

So i will be continuing my cameraless film work with this!! In the hope that it will all be quicker, more authentic, and overall just better!!

In other news im spending an hour every day this week helping with an exhibition in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens, so basically im going to spend an hour every day sitting in the sun and telling people not to touch the super heroes. Sounds fab to me!!

And now im going to go play with my projector a bit more, and see if i can work out how to actually thread the film on to it!!
