Back to it

Ive been back at Uni for a week now, overall it was a very enjoyable week, many many many things were crammed into the 7 days, only a couple of which were even remotely arty.
We had an insane about of words spoken at us, several hundred different time tables and deadlines and other various horrific things given to us, and overall i think its quite safe to say that i am just a little bit scared about this year!!

However on the plus, but also slightly minus side, i have an idea (FINALLY) which i think has the potential to keep me entertained for weeks and weeks, but at the same time im not fully convinced by it as its very different from my previous work. I dont know whether i want to take such a different approach to what i do, if i want to continue with what i was doing, and from where im looking i cant see a way to combine my old ways with my new idea.

But i have a tutorial on tuesday, so hopefully all will be sorted then!!

You know what doesnt help?

Breaking my camera, it really really doesnt help at all.

Searching Argos/Currys/Comet etc for a new one makes me sad

The most productive 24 hours in the last 12 months...

Oh yes, that is indeed what i have had!! And its been wonderful! I like being busy, i like the feeling that after i finish whatever im doing i have 100 other things to do, its far better then having nothing to do at all! Or at least that is what im feeling at the moment, but that may be mostly due to having nothing to for the past 4 months pretty much!

Anyway, CLICK HERE to go see the etsy store, its finally got items in it!! And at some point over this evening it will have even more!!

Ive also prepared my sketch book for being used (a process that involves gluing white tissue paper to every page,) and THEN i even filled 5 pages with thoughts and ideas and other such things!!

So yeh, last night/today has been good. Yayay for this!! =]

Then the inspiration hit back

So finally a full 4 months after i lost my art genius it has come back! I have to admit i was getting slightly worried that i was going to rock up to my first day back at uni and have to admit that 'i dont want to do art anymore, i just dont'.

But luckily it is all ok, it finally happened, the light came back on, i felt the sense of geniuses running through my veins once more, and finally i feel as though going back to uni wont be a waste of time.

YES, i had an idea, maybe at this point it is not exactly a completely original fully formed idea, but the spark is there, and i fully intend on making it grow into something fabulous and wonderful soon.

I even brought a new sketch book specially for the occasion!

In other news i have been in the process of creating an etsy store for the jewlry i have been making, the store is not quite finished yet, but ill update you on that when it is, should be soon, hopefully, i just have to work out how to use the camera or something!

Anyway watch this space for more interesting art based things soon!

A long time since i last wrote here

this lack of posting is for several reasons.

1. i have been rather busy doing several things, these things include, moving back home for summer, getting my wisdom teeth taken out, working, and planning.

2. we got our marks back for the end of the second year project, mine werent that great, the comments were horrible, i dont really want to make art for a while, in fact right now i dont really want to make art ever again, im hoping it will pass.

3. yeh actually i think there were only the 2 reasons.

But i have something else to share with you instead...

Not that there is anything actually there to see at the moment, but hopefully by the end of next week (?) we will have things to show, and they shall be fabulous!
